Credit influencers for every coupon sale

Influencers and podcasters often drive sales without a click: the customer just types a code at checkout. Rastro attributes those sales to the right affiliate by the coupon code.

What you get

01

Sales without a click

The advertiser reports the coupon code, and the sale goes to the affiliate who owns it.

02

One code, one affiliate

Each code belongs to one affiliate on an offer, so attribution is never ambiguous.

03

No duplicates

The same coupon and transaction ID are counted once, even if reported again.

04

Same rules as clicks

Payout rules, caps, tiers and status changes apply to coupon sales too.

05

Reports by coupon

Coupon sales show in the affiliate's reports like any other conversion.

06

Works with postback and API

Send coupon instead of click_id in the postback, or in the conversions API.

How it works

  1. 01

    Create the code

Assign a coupon code to an affiliate on the offer.

  2. 02

    The affiliate shares it

On social media, a podcast or a newsletter.

  3. 03

    The advertiser reports it

The postback carries coupon=CODE and the order's txn_id.

  4. 04

    The sale is credited

Rastro attributes it to the code's affiliate and calculates the commission.

How do I track influencer coupon codes?

Give each influencer a unique code in Rastro. When the advertiser reports a sale with that code, it's credited to the influencer, even without a click.

Is a transaction ID required?

Yes, for coupon sales: it stops the same order from being counted twice.

Can a coupon and a click both exist?

Yes. If the postback has a click_id, the click is used; the coupon is for sales without one.
