CPL (cost per lead)

CPL is a payment model where the affiliate earns for each qualified lead, such as a completed form or a sign-up, without requiring a sale.

CPL (cost per lead) pays the affiliate for each lead: a visitor who leaves their details, fills in a form or creates an account. No purchase is needed.

It's common in insurance, finance, education and dating, where the sale happens later, often by phone or email.

What counts as a lead

The advertiser defines it: a validated email, a phone number, a completed quote. Leads that turn out to be fake or duplicated are usually rejected by the advertiser and don't count for the affiliate.

In Rastro

Choose CPL as the offer's payout model. The advertiser reports each lead by postback, and can later change its status to rejected, which removes it from the affiliate's balance.
