CPA (cost per action)
CPA is a payment model where the affiliate earns a fixed amount each time a visitor completes an agreed action, such as a sale or a sign-up.
CPA (cost per action, also called cost per acquisition) is the most common payment model in affiliate marketing. The advertiser pays only when a visitor completes an agreed action: a purchase, a registration, a first deposit.
The network pays part of that amount to the affiliate who brought the visitor. The difference between what the advertiser pays (revenue) and what the affiliate earns (payout) is the network's margin.
Example
An advertiser pays €30 for each first deposit. The network pays the affiliate €22. The network keeps €8 per conversion.
