Affiliate payouts in Rastro: balances, payout requests, SEPA batches and statements
How affiliate balances grow with approved conversions, how affiliates request payouts and how the network approves, pays and exports SEPA batches.
Updated on 22 Oct 2026
Rastro keeps each affiliate's balance up to date and handles the whole payout cycle: the affiliate asks to be paid, the network approves and pays, and everyone sees the history.
How the balance works
- An approved conversion adds its payout to the affiliate's balance.
- A reversed conversion (refund, chargeback) or one rejected after approval removes it.
- Pending conversions don't count yet: they wait for the advertiser or the network to decide.
The affiliate sees the available balance and the total paid so far on their dashboard.
1. The affiliate sets up how to be paid
In Payouts, the affiliate chooses a method:
- Bank transfer (SEPA): account holder, IBAN (checked) and, optionally, BIC/SWIFT;
- PayPal: the PayPal account email;
- Other: free notes agreed with the network.
The details are encrypted in the database. The team sees them masked; showing the full details is a deliberate click, and each time it's recorded in the audit log.
2. The affiliate requests a payout
When the balance reaches the network's minimum (50 by default), the affiliate requests a payout. The amount is reserved while the request is open, so it can't be requested twice. Only one request can be open at a time.
3. The network approves and pays
In Payouts, the team sees the open requests and:
- approves them (ready to pay);
- marks them as paid, with the transfer reference to match against the bank statement;
- or rejects them, and the amount returns to the affiliate's balance.
The affiliate is notified by email when the payout is sent.
SEPA batches
For bank transfers, you can download the approved payouts as a SEPA batch file and upload it to your bank, paying many affiliates in one go.
Advertiser statements
On the other side, Rastro generates monthly statements for each advertiser, with the value of the approved conversions. They're the basis for your invoice. Statements aren't tax invoices: in Portugal, invoices must be issued in certified software.
Good to know
- Fraud confirmed on the Fraud page rejects the linked conversions and adjusts the balance before the money leaves.
- Who can manage payouts is controlled by permissions; by default, administrators only.
