How to know if your affiliate program is working: the numbers to watch
The affiliate program metrics that matter: active affiliates, sales, EPC, conversion rate, cost per sale and quality, and where to see them in RastroAff.

Having lots of affiliates signed up doesn't mean the program works. These are the numbers that tell the truth.
Active affiliates
How many partners brought at least one click or sale in the month. In many programs, a small share of affiliates brings most of the sales: get to know them and look after them.
Sales and revenue per affiliate
The approved sales and revenue each partner brought. Compare months: is it growing, holding or falling?
Conversion rate
Sales divided by clicks. A low rate can mean weak traffic, or a page on your site that doesn't convert. An unusually high rate deserves a look: it could be fraud.
EPC (earnings per click)
How much an affiliate earns, on average, for each click they send. It's the number affiliates compare between programs: a high EPC attracts good partners.
Cost per sale and profit
The average commission paid per sale, compared with the margin. If a sale costs less through affiliates than through ads, the program pays off.
Quality
Refunds, chargebacks and rejected sales per affiliate. A partner with many sales but many returns may be costing you money.
