Affiliate manager
An affiliate manager recruits, onboards and supports affiliates, helping them choose offers and grow their traffic while keeping quality high.
An affiliate manager (AM) is the person at a network or a brand who looks after a group of affiliates. They are the affiliate's main contact: they approve access to offers, suggest what to promote, negotiate payouts and step in when traffic quality drops.
What a good affiliate manager watches
- Activity: affiliates who stopped sending traffic, or who just started.
- Quality: conversion rate, chargebacks and fraud signals per affiliate.
- Earnings: the EPC of each offer, to point affiliates to what pays best.
- Caps: offers close to their cap, before traffic is wasted.
On the advertiser side
Networks often have advertiser account managers too, who handle integrations, budgets and the monthly reconciliation of conversions.

Each affiliate can be assigned to an account manager, who sees only their own affiliates and their results. Permission profiles decide what each team member can see and change.
