GGR (gross gaming revenue)

GGR is the amount players bet minus what they win. It's the starting point for NGR, which iGaming revenue share deals are usually based on.

GGR (gross gaming revenue) is the total amount players bet, minus the winnings paid out to them. It's what the operator keeps before bonuses, fees and taxes.

GGR vs NGR

  • GGR = bets − winnings.
  • NGR = GGR − bonuses, and usually payment fees and taxes.

Affiliate revenue share is almost always calculated on NGR, not GGR, so the same player can be worth less to the affiliate than GGR suggests.
