Wagering (turnover)
Wagering is the total amount a player bets at a casino or sportsbook. It is used as a CPA condition and to release bonuses.
Wagering (turnover, handle) is the total amount a player bet in a period. A player who deposits €50 and bets it several times can have €500 of wagering.
Where it shows up
- Qualified CPA: many operators only pay the CPA once the player wagers a minimum, to exclude those who deposit and withdraw without playing.
- Bonuses: wagering requirements say how many times a bonus must be bet before it can be withdrawn.
Wagering and GGR
GGR is what is left of the bets after winnings. With a 5% margin, €10,000 of wagering gives about €500 of GGR.
